Vietnam’s wooden furniture sales to U.S. surge

Vietnam’s wooden interior furniture exports to the U.S. have risen substantially in the last three years and the trend continues in the first few months of this year, according to U.S. figures.

HANOI, Sept 23 Asia Pulse - Vietnam's earnings from wooden furniture exports in the first nine months of this year has exceeded US$1 billion and keeps growing strongly, said the Vietnam Wood and Forest Produce Association (VWFPA).

Long Thanh is a Vietnamese private company, founded in 1998 and specialized in processing, trading and export the outdoor funiture made from tropical hardwood such as Keruing, Acacia and Eucalyptus. Besides, we also supply the wood-iron funiture which is very popular for outdoor laying.

The company has two factories with total area 30,000.00m2 and 400 workers, and the capacity of around 25x40' per month exported to many markets in the world, mainly to Europe . The material for processing is imported from abroad under legal sources, which is one of the company's criteria.
